IS AN ILLINOIS CORPORATION FOUNDED IN 1981:
Originally a film production company providing crew services as well as renting 16mm and 35mm film cameras, the company expanded its services to include video production & digital post production in 1996.
Peter Hawley - Award Winning Writer / Director
SPECIALIZING IN STORY TELLING & REAL PEOPLE:
Peter Hawley is a screenwriter and film director. His film, "The Law of Inertia" won numerous film festival awards. The success of "Inertia" led to his writing and directing "Victimless Crimes," a feature film distributed by Sony Pictures and starring Craig Bierko (Cinderella Man, Boston Legal). As a commercial director, he specializes in storytelling. His commercial credits as director include Windex, Glade and Off-Skintastic for S.C. Johnson. He also created and wrote the "Denny Dent" television campaign for classic rock radio stations, and a spoof of the popular television show "E.R." for WLS-TV Channel 7, in Chicago.
SHOOTING FILM AND DIGITAL VIDEO:
Jim Fiester has spent many years lighting and shooting film for TV commercial clients such as Chevy Blazer and Michael Jordan as well as the SC Johnson family of products shot for Foote, Cone and Belding (including Windex, Pledge, OFF! Skintastic, Shout, Fantastic, and Glade. At the request of many clients, Windy Cine Productions began offering digital video production and editing services in the fall of 1998. One challenge shooting video is maintaining the quality and look of film. We shot for the International Carwash Association's 50th Anniversary... so it was off to Detroit, Boston, San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs, Phoenix and Chicago.
Let's see, if today's Friday, it must be San Diego... 6,000 miles by air and 2,000 miles by car - 14 interviews in all plus cut-away background footage.
After editing, the project it was screened in Las Vegas for over 10,000 ICA members. A very interesting project.
